Late at night, the clouds outside the window slowly part and a crescent moon appears. One by one the stars light up, and moonlight falls softly on the windowsill like dew.

She reaches out to catch that bit of light and paints it into ten nails, stroke by stroke — stars, clouds and the moon, all melting into the night.
