The story behind
Early morning by the sea, before the mist had lifted. She picked up a shell worn smooth by the waves, its inside glowing with a faint rainbow; in the distance, the stone steps were veined in grey-blue and cream, and as the morning light touched them, tiny flecks of gold suddenly glimmered through the mist.
Even quiet things can shine. She painted that morning into ten nails — quietly, glimmering.
