The story behind
On a snowy night, she builds a little house of gingerbread, with icing for snow on the roof and a red gummy for the door. A mug of hot cocoa steams on the table, and the gingerbread man stands at the door to welcome guests.
She paints that cosy little house into ten nails, stroke by stroke — like a fairytale book that smells sweet.
