On a spring morning, sunlight falls through the flower shop window. Buckets overflow with little white daisies and pink tulips, and petals drift on the breeze onto the windowsill.
She picks her favourites and paints them into ten nails, stroke by stroke — softly, flowers bloom on her fingertips too.
