The story behind
An afternoon at the Louvre: sunlight pours through the tall windows and rests on the marble shoulders of classical statues. Deep red gallery walls are hung with gilded frames, and even the ceilings are wreathed in golden leaves.
She wandered slowly from one gallery to the next, where the coolness of stone and the warmth of gold met quietly in the light. When she came home, she gathered that quiet radiance, stroke by stroke, into ten little nails — softly, shining.
