Inside an old abbey is a small garden, golden window frames set into its stone walls, with pink and purple flowers blooming outside — even the wind slows down.
She sits in the garden all afternoon and paints that stillness into ten nails, stroke by stroke — gentle flower shadows, kept on her fingertips.
