On the morning she left home, she dressed all in red, lifted a gold-painted teacup with both hands, and served tea to her parents. In the warm scent of the tea, her mother gently straightened the pearls in her hair. No one said a word, yet it felt as though a lifetime of blessings had been spoken.
One cup of tea, a lifetime of red. We paint the red and gold of that day, stroke by stroke, across ten fingertips — for every bride-to-be.
