The story behind
On the desk at night lies an old herbarium, open. Between its pages are leaves and little flowers from last autumn, faded to a soft milk-tea colour; when the moonlight comes in, the gold lettering on the paper begins to glow.
She paints those quiet specimens into ten nails, stroke by stroke — as if tucking the moonlight between the pages too.
